Dear Seekers patients,
Please be advised that the clinic will try to maintain pain management services and serve our patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. We ask you to help us protect our many vulnerable patients and our staff by doing your part during these difficult times. We will be pre-screening all scheduled patients by phone prior to arrival and screening everyone when they arrive. In compliance with public health recommendations, please be aware that you will NOT be allowed to enter the facility if:
1. You HAVE a COUGH, FEVER, BREATHING DIFFICULTIES or any cold symptoms
and/or
2. HAVE travelled to or BEEN IN CONTACT IN THE LAST 14 days with anyone that has traveled to ANY COUNTRY outside of Canada
Please call and rebook your appointments if either of the above apply to you. In addition to our usual screening and cleaning practices, we have implemented additional proactive measures such as:
- More frequent disinfection of all touch surfaces and high traffic areas
- Mandatory handwashing procedures for reception and administrative staff
All patients will be directed to wash their hands upon arrival and before departing the clinic, and leave their winter jackets, purses and handbags in the waiting room to avoid contamination of treatment areas.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Our priority is to continue to provide necessary clinical services while minimizing risk to our patients and the broader community. We will be monitoring the situation daily and will send updates as they become available.
In these stressful times, we encourage you to stay calm, keep in touch with friends and loved ones, get some daily fresh air, sunshine and exercise and avoid contact with others as much as possible for now.
