What is Integrative Pain Management?

Integrative Pain Management (IPM) refers to an approach to treating pain that chooses the best therapies from a wide range of options. These can include conventional medical testing, drugs, and surgery, but the focus of integrative medicine is usually on natural, complementary and alternative (CAM) therapies that promote healing and eliminate pain.

Integrative Pain Management is a personalized, multidisciplinary treatment plan designed by an MD and performed by a cohesive team of health practitioners. Our treatment plan is overseen by IPM case managers, who ensure patients stay informed about their healing plan, and track and measure patients’ progress toward a smooth, swift recovery.

The IPM program is for people who are suffering from acute or chronic pain, concussions, and traumatic brain injuries. Our unique integrative approach is especially suited to those who are suffering pain or injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident. This accident does not have to have been recent; often our patients have suffered for months, or even years, and have found no success with their previous treatment(s). For those who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident but who have not yet received insurance coverage, the Seekers Centre also offers support services through our Billings and Claims Department.

No matter what the cause, our patients are people who are struggling with pain, frustration, and exhaustion. Sometimes they have battled pain their entire lives. Sometimes their pain is intense and debilitating.

In almost all cases, our patients have tried virtually everything to be healed – from conventional medicine, to sports medicine and physiotherapy – and still have not seen results. They know that they need something more than conventional; something that will take a deeper look at their body, their history, and their lifestyle. We believe that something is Integrative Pain Management!

IPM offers relief from pain, peace of mind, and an exceptional healing experience. We can help you manage your pain, but our goal is to end it.

Our treatments help promote healing by targeting the root causes of your pain, which helps your body to heal itself naturally. Our IPM will let you to live the life you want to live with:
