People typically become Seekers when they are in search of answers to their questions and of a method of healing that actually works for them – permanently. They have usually faced a long battle with health challenges that leads them to realize they require something more than conventional medicine; something that treats illness, not its symptoms. They are ready to make their health a priority.

A Seeker is characterized by strong beliefs: she understand the value of health, the importance of an open mind, and the healing power of nature. More importantly, a Seeker is defined by her actions. She is not just open to healing – she is searching and advocating for it, and participating and investing in it.

A Seeker is someone who puts belief into action.

Belief

All Seekers have a common set of values and beliefs that shape their views on healing. A Seeker knows the value of health. He understands the importance of conventional medicine, but he can also see that our healthcare system is straining. He knows that we need a new way to treat the diseases of the modern day, and he has found it in a healing method that combines conventional medicine with complementary and alternative therapies. A Seeker recognize the power of harnessing both these valuable traditions.

Action

Seekers also recognize that belief alone is not enough. A Seeker will draw on her beliefs and put them into action through her choices. A Seeker makes choices that will lead to a better life; she chooses healing. She also understands that once she has made that choice, healing becomes her responsibility.

Seekers know that healing goes beyond energy or intent – it means investment. A Seeker is willing to invest his time, energy, and resources because he knows that his health is their number one priority. By becoming a Seeker, you are choosing to be an active participant in the healing process. In essence, you are becoming one of your own healers.

The Seekers Centre believes this is the only way to be healed and it is why we speak with confidence – with conviction. It is the foundation of our treatment philosophy that we all share as colleagues and friends: we remove blockages to help the body heal itself. Once people remove blockages of anxiety, resistance, invisible scars or fear, they are able to help themselves heal. They have put their belief into action. They have become Seekers.
